The latest update

Well, Saturday night, me, Dani, Kelsey, Abby, Lisha, and Hannah went to the San Pete County Rodeo, and it is NOTHING like Preston! Oh, it was so bad. No one stuck and it was just dumb. But we had fun. :) And one of my crushes sat like 4 rows in front of us, so I watched him the whole time. Haha, just kidding! Dani also helped me to highlight my hair, but I was too nervous to fry it so I didn't let it stay in very long so it's not that noticeable. Also, Dani's mom cut my bangs on Sunday so I have bangs again! I am a new woman.
Church was good on Sunday. I found my future husband. :) He taught our Sunday School class (which was our whole ward) and he was just so spiritual and you could see his testimony burning through. He's really cute too! He lives downstairs, so I'll work on it. ;) The rest of the roommates came home Sunday, so it was good having everyone back! I made Oakley's Oreo Stuffed Choc. Chip Cookies and they were a HIT! It caught people off guard at first, but they all loved them. And I made too many cookies from the extra dough, so we just delivered them to the apartments on our floor. I didn't even ruin these cookies either. Our apartment was once again full of people Sunday night playing Spoons, so it was crazy crowded and loud, but I love that our place is the gathering place! It's awesome. :)
Yesterday was a great day! I was just super happy and I talked to people I didn't know, and it was just great. I learned to make a new type of Beef Stroganoff and it was SO GOOD!! I love my foods class! I have it from 10:30 am until 12:20 pm, so I get free lunch every Monday and Wednesday. Biology is still kind of a killer, I am SO lost in that class. But I'm going to work on studying better so that I can keep up! (Call me if you want to hear my story about my Biology class and the seating arrangement. ;) ) Last night was Family Night in A7. We made breakfast borritos for dinner and ate like a cute little family! Then I went grocery shopping with Kels while everyone else went to their classes, then when I got home, everyone did some homework and we creeped on the boys in the hot tub :) then we played the Wii. GLEE KAREOKE!!! It was so much fun! We all just sang at the top of our lungs, and yes you could hear us outside of our apartment. Then we watched 17 Again and drooled over Zac Efron. :) I am loving living down here, and I love my roommates! We have so much fun all of the time. It will be a bummer being way from them this weekend, but I'm excited to see everyone back home!! I'm coming home Friday, I don't know what time I'll be home yet. And I could technically stay until Tuesday, but I don't think anyone else can stay home for that long. But I'm excited to see everyone!
Welp, here are my pictures. :)

Hoedown & Derby

So, Thursday was my second day of class and it was awesome! I had a class at 8:30, then a break until 12:30, so Elisha and I did Tae Bo and worked out. Wednesday night we went to a Hoedown in the plaza by our library, and it was so fun!! We are making it a goal to learn all of the line dances, since the only line dance I know is for Good Time. :)
All of our roommates are gone home, so it's just me and Dani this weekend! We always have a good time, like scootering and getting hit by water balloons and having to climb over the balcony after being locked out. Dani, Tess, and Mal decided to lock me on the balcony with my scooter and made me scooter around in a circle until they let me back in! And they recorded me while I was on the balcony. We also always sit on our balcony eating all sorts of food, usually Oreos with peanut butter. So we're now known as the PHAT girls in A7, because we are all Pretty, Hot, and Tempting. ;)
Last night, me, Kelsey, Dani, Abby, and Abby's roommate went to the Demolition Derby in Manti and walked around the fair. It was so sweet! We have a new hero, that we don't really know. But her hair is what made her our hero. If only I would've gotten a good picture of her. :( After the derby, we came back and sat in the hot tub with Chris and a bunch of his friends from his dorm. There were people already in there, and a bunch of football players came over and they were all free style rapping! It was so sweet! Last night was pretty much perfect. :) Then Dani and I started to watch Leap Year, but we fell asleep so we are finishing it right now. There's a big carnival today, and Abby's family is taking us all to lunch, then we might go to the Rodeo tonight. Tomorrow is Dessert Sunday, and we're making Oreo Stuffed Cookies. We figured if everyone knows we have good food, we will definitely make friends a lot quicker! :)
Here's some pics!

First Day of School!

Today was my first day of school and it was pretty great! I love having an hour between classes, but then I just walk home and eat so this may or may not be good. :/ My anatomy and physiology of domestic animals class is really small, and there is one cute cowboy. My professor seems super chill too. He's in the National Guard in the Special Forces, so he has way cool pictures from Afghanistan. Then I had Human Development and my professor is super funny. I'm pretty sure that will be a super easy class, he kind of admitted it was easy too. And the kid I sat next to, his name is Trevor and he's from Provo. And he is like a spitting image of Brad but not as tall and more meat on him. He was way nice! Then in Foods Management, I have a kid in there that looks just like Taylor Lautner! He is super nice too. :) I met a girl in my Foods class too and she is from Kissimee, Florida! She knows Al too! Her sister is good friends with him because they are in their ward and she said that he is such a sweetheart and a great missionary. :) Her name is Savannah, I think. But she said that her friend's family that feeds him and his companion all the time feeds them fried borritos so she said if he comes home fat, that's why. hahaha
And then in Biology, my professor lectured us and he seems pretty hard but like he'll help us if we need it. His name is Dr. Papenfuss. :) Try saying that!
One of my roommate clogged our toilet (I won't say who so she doesn't get embarrassed) but it was so funny! So then we tried Googling how to fix it because plunging wasn't helping, and Google gave very descriptive instructions as to how to unclog a toilet with a plunger. Always check the toilet bowl before sitting down! I love my roommates and I love being on our own! It's always an adventure!
Now I'm going to do my homework and take a nap. My classes started today at 7:30 AM so I'm pretty tired. P.S. I'm creeping on Mikey as he bike locks his bike to his balcony. He looks like a tard. ;)

The bees

So, we have bees infesting our balcony! Well, they are infesting everyone's balcony because the boys upstairs from us have bees too. So, being the genius I am, I already tried to kill them with hairspray the other night and used all of my hairspray :( tonight since I was out of hairspray and no one else wanted to sacrifice theirs, I used bleach spray. And it killed them for a second then they all came back to life! I first sprayed them with PAM too, and there were boys in the hot tub. They weren't too happy with me because they were afraid of getting stung-stupid boys just need to buck up and get over it. But then after a long time of trying to find a remedy to kill them, our boy neighbors upstairs came out and started spraying their own balcony. So we convinced them to come down and spray ours, and they were such gentleman and did. Then invited us over anytime we wanted. Hahaha, oh boys. But needless to say, I am pretty much everyone's hero and super brave because I attempted to conquer the bees without fear. And I didn't get stung. I'm just a bee kind of person, kind of like Scott. :)
Now me and my one roommate are watching a bunch of people playing volleyball. My family knows better than anyone how PRO I am, so I'm not out showing off to everyone out there. ;) I was watching my new crush earlier, but he and his friends went back. And I'm pretty sure he lives in my building now! I love him already. Haha but he really is super cute. And he's in my ward.
Yesterday at Start Smart it was kind of long and dumb. We did a service project, which was good. But it was just a long day. Then I didn't get home until 1:30 AM because I was watching Monte Welsh in The Neighbor Apartment (Mike McSwain, Nate Soelberg, and Justin Snow's apartment-it's now the neighbor apartment because they are directly across from us). Not my smartest idea because waking up today was a killer! And I didn't feel good all day today, so I have gone like 4 days without running and it is genuinely killing me. So I hope tomorrow when I get home from school I can go for a run.
Everyone down here is way nice. I feel so much more confident to talk to people and it is just so much easier to make friends. I love it! Now that I'm graduated and meeting people outside of my hometown, I am realizing that people are a lot more nice! I thought everyone at Davis was just kind of shy, and maybe that's still the case. But people go out of their way down here to make new friends and to include everyone and it is just so awesome. I love love LOVE it!
I like my roommates, they are all way nice and fun. :) And I have newly discovered that all of my roommates are freshman, not just 4 of us. Hahaha, but it's way chill! We are all ready for school to start though. I personally am hoping that once school starts, the hot tub won't be occupied all night long! We have people in there until like 2 in the morning and last night, they decided to chase each other with the hose with cold water so they were freaking out, right outside my window! It was so annoying. But I guess that's what we get for having the party apartment-right by the hot tub.
Now that I have done my journal entry for the day ;) me and Elisha are going for a scooter ride. :)

My side of the room. :)
My roommate, Elisha, and her side. She might just hate living with me-she is so neat and organized!
 My motivational wall art.
The cute towels Cami Robinson and Sharon Jeppson gave me for graduation!
My side of the bathroom... :/ Can you tell I had my own bathroom? My stuff ends at the white lotion bottle.
Our cute kitchen :) It will be decorated.

And I didn't take any pictures of our living room because it was full of people... But, it is full of people all the time. There's always people here. So we are the party apartment! We made cookies and just let everyone have them, so I'm pretty sure we will be accumulating boys every night. Chris brought a bunch of kids from his dorm over too and they went swimming in our hot tub and attacked the bees. They were all way nice and funny, and they liked our cooking so I'm sure that they'll be over a lot. :) Take a wild guess as to what kind of cookies I made. NO BAKES! They were delish. We were going to make chocolate chip cookies but we didn't have any brown sugar, so we just did what we had, and of course I made sure I had all of the stuff to make those. :) I went and visited Heidi and her family, it's so good having her down! Then we grabbed Elisha and went over to Mikey, Nate, Justin, and Josh's apartment and sat while they did their picks for their fantasy football draft. And they are freaking hilarious! We also have had stuff thrown at our windows all day, so we will be getting entertained a ton I hope. Well I need to go to bed. So I'll update tomorrow maybe.
